We are geared up for winter and ironically only get approximately 126mm of rain in the rainy season.
More likely than not you will be soaking up the sun while it rains in Cape Town. Our winter days are spent snuggled up in front of the Dover Stove, sipping on gluwine while listening to the sound of the rain on a tin roof contemplating the stormy seas- sooo… romantic!!
A lot of you missed out on the most amazing wild flower display last year… make a plan to get to The Beach Camp this year not to miss out!

THE FLOWERS ARE ALL READY STARTING… And for those staying at The Beach Camp we include a free flower walk from 14h00 daily if booked in advance when you book your accommodation. This is of course weather permitting. For those that still want to join the walk but don’t want to stay at The Beach Camp the cost is R110 per person per hour (excl. nature reserve fees) and it is for more or less an hour depending how much ground we cover. Bookings essential.
