Chill out in the “Chill Cove” on a hammock which has replaced the pool table.  Read a book or just stare out at the ocean.

Wild Flower Walks (seasonal & booked in advance), hiking, bouldering, bird watching, fishing, guided sea-kayak trails, guided horse riding, diving,  star gazing or just relax while sipping on Yerba Maté would be the order of the day.  Some activities are outsourced, others are suggestions of what you can do with the equipment you may have at home and need to bring this along.

HIKE CAPE COLUMBINE NATURE RESERVE:

For those booked in at The Beach Camp, you can explore the granite rock formations and sea life in the rock pools.  Remember, your fees for the reserve are included in your accommodation.  You can also walk from the camp to Paternoster along the coast, it will take about 45min to Paternoster main beach and is really a beautiful stroll.    Suggested activity.

Guided sea-kayak trails and expeditions for all skill levels.  (Weather and sea conditions permitting – bookings essential).  Here you can gaze at seals, dolphins, whales and the awesome bird life, as well as breathtaking scenery. Come and relax in The Beach Camp™ on the beach in Cape Columbine Nature Reserve near the small West Coast fishing village, Paternoster. FLOWER WALKS:

Free flower walk for people staying at The Beach Camp™ (pre-booking essential) between mid July till the end of August – dependent on if there are still flowers out & of course the weather.  This walk is for approximately an hour to show you our West Coast flowers in the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve.  The flowers range in size from 3mm to 100mm.  Some are brown, some are green…….  SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!  Please book this with us in advance when you make your accommodation booking.
