Cancellation Policy
Non-arrival, cancellations, date changes or early checkout:
- From + 36 days guest forfeit 5% of deposit
- From 35 to 27 days guest forfeit 15% of deposit
- From 20 to 28 days guest forfeit 25% of deposit
- From 14 to 21 days forfeit is 50% of deposit
- From 7 to 14 days forfeit is 75% of deposit
- Less than 7 days the guest forfeits full deposit
Early check-out:
Guest forfeits full deposit and pays cash on the premises for services rendered in terms of meals, drinks, Oysters, Yerba Maté, wood, etc.

No bachelor parties allowed at The Beach Camp™.
Bookings are only secure once proof of payment has been received via e-mail.
The Beach Camp has a licensed bar, that is exclusively for residents. This means you aren’t permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the premises. We do however understand that not everyone enjoys box wine, which means that if you are particular about the type of wine you drink – you may bring your own. A corkage fee of R25/750ml bottle of wine applies.
We can do dinner, lunch or breakfast for you. This needs to be booked a week or more in advance. Should you wish to be self-catering that is also fine. For those self-catering they need to wash their own dishes, however if you are allergic to washing dishes and you would like us to provide this service for you, we can at a fee.
We do have wood for sale on site if you don’t feel like packing it in.
We only accept cash as payment for the bar/corkage/meals/dish-washing/wood/laundry services/oysters etc. payable on-site.

We are in a nature reserve, therefore the following is not allowed:
- No pets
- No motor bikes (unless with prior arrangement with the curator)
- No launching of inflatable boats from the nature reserve
- No electronic music
- No off-road driving
- Speed restriction 40km/h within the reserve
- No disturbing of plant/vegetation/animal life
We have no electricity by choice.
To secure and confirm your reservation full payment up front on accommodation is required. You will receive a reference and our bank account details to make the payment.
House rules apply for every guest. You can request a copy of the house rules upon arrival.
